  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the eighth edition of the Raisina Dialogue on Geopolitics and Geostrategy in New Delhion 2 March.
  • The Raisina Dialogue has been organised jointly by the Ministry of External Affairs of India and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF, established in 1990). This dialogue will be organised from 2 to 4 March 2023.
  • The theme of the eighth edition of the Raisina Dialogue is “Provocation, Uncertainty, Turbulence: Lighthouse in the Tempest.”
  • Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Melonihas been invited as the chief guest in the inaugural session of the three-day event.
  • It was started in the year 2016.
  • Its main objective is to explore possibilities and opportunities for Asian integration as well as better integration of Asia with the rest of the world.
