On August 6, 2024, President Draupadi Murmu was awarded the Companion of the Order of Fiji, Fiji's highest civilian award, by President Ratu Viliame Mavelili Katonivere, highlighting the strong diplomatic relations between India and Fiji.
The Companion of the Order of Fiji is Fiji's highest civilian award.
This honour is reflective of the deep bonds of friendship between India and Fiji.
