President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the state-of-the-art Yashoda Medicity in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, on October 26, 2025. Speaking at the event, she emphasized that quality healthcare is the foundation of nation-building and highlighted the vital role of the private sector in achieving the vision of a “Healthy India.” The President praised Yashoda Hospital’s commendable service during the COVID-19 pandemic and its active participation in the National TB Elimination Program. She urged the institution to expand research in sickle cell anemia and cancer treatment and expressed hope that Yashoda Medicity would emerge as a hub for affordable, world-class healthcare.
