President Droupadi Murmu conferred the National Teachers' Awards to 82 teachers in school and higher education categories at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on September 5, 2024.
16 teachers from higher educational institutions and polytechnics have also been selected for the 'Teachers Award 2024'.
This is the first time that teachers from higher educational institutions have also been awarded.
The awarded teachers were given a cash prize of Rs 50,000, silver medal and certificates.
