Shri Praveen Vashista has been appointed as Vigilance Commissioner in the Central Vigilance Commission following a warrant issued by the President of India on December 12, 2025. He took the oath of office on January 16, 2026, before the Central Vigilance Commissioner, in accordance with provisions of the CVC Act, 2003.
