Prasar Bharati launched the 'WAVES' OTT platform on 20 November 2024, which includes historical shows like Ramayan, Mahabharata, Shaktimaan, and Hum Log. The platform offers family entertainment, news, documentaries, and diverse content in more than 12 languages.
The WAVES platform features 65 live channels, video-on-demand, gaming, radio streaming, and e-commerce integration, promoting India's cultural heritage as well as embracing inclusivity and innovation.
