Recently, a postage stamp has been released on the completion of 50 years of 'Pandit Motiram Pandit Maniram Sangeet Samaroh'.
This postage stamp was released by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
Pandit Motiram Pandit Maniram Music Festival is an annual Indian classical music festival.
It is held at the Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad, Telangana.
It is also the oldest festival of Hyderabad.
This festival was first started in 1972 by Pandit Jasraj in the memory of his father 'Sangeet Ratna Pandit Motiram' and uncle 'Pandit Maniram'.
Pandit Jasraj is an Indian classical singer, who belonged to the Mewati Gharana.
This legacy is carried forward by the Pandit Jasraj Cultural Foundation
