Poland has signed a deal to link its national fuel pipeline with NATO’s Central Europe Pipeline System (CEPS), in a project worth 20 billion zlotys (≈5.5 billion USD). About 300 km of pipeline will be built from the German border to Bydgoszcz, along with new fuel storage facilities for NATO operations. The project aims to strengthen Poland’s energy and defense security, ensuring a steady fuel supply for military forces and enhancing NATO troop mobility amid regional tensions. Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk called it one of Poland’s largest security investments in 30 years.
