  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated projects worth over Rs 68,000 crore in Odisha, including a permanent campus of IIM Sambalpur and infrastructure initiatives in power, road and railways sectors.
  • Modi had laid the foundation stone for the campus of IIM Sambalpur in 2021. These projects will benefit the youth of Odisha and provide employment opportunities.
  • He also inaugurated the Jharsuguda-Angul pipeline, a 412-km part of the Jagdishpur-Haldia and Bokaro-Dhamra Pipeline Project (JHBDPL).
  • The project, built under 'Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga' at a cost of around Rs 2,450 crore, will connect Odisha to the national gas grid.
