  • The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is organising the 21st edition of its annual flagship event, the World Sustainability Development Summit (WSDS) 2022 in New Delhi, India from 16th to 18th February.
  • The three-day virtual Summit that would play a constructivist role for guiding activities such as the COP27 Compass and SDG Charter involves the presence of international dignitaries from all round the world.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the inaugural session of The Energy and Resources Institute’s (TERI) World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS).
  • The Summit will also release Act4Earth Manifesto and Act4Earth Strategy papers in order to reinforce commitment at all levels to enhance ambition and action. It aims to create a more sustainable and equitable world for present and future generations.
  • It is the flagship annual event of the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). Many issues including climate change, sustainable production, energy transition and resource security will be discussed in this summit.
  • This year's theme is “Towards a Resilient Planet: Ensuring a Sustainable and Equitable Future”.
