Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Russia's highest civilian honour, the Order of St Andrew the Apostle the First-Called, from President Vladimir Putin.
The award was presented to PM Modi for his outstanding efforts in promoting partnership and friendship between India and Russia.
PM Modi expressed gratitude, stating the honour is a 'samman' (respect) for 140 crore Indians and a testament to the long-standing friendship between India and Russia.
