PM Modi Launches “PM Dhan-Dhanya Kisan Yojana” and “Dalhan Atmanirbhar Mission” with Historic Investments in Agriculture

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the “Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Kisan Yojana” and “Dalhan Atmanirbhar Mission” in Pusa, Delhi, marking a landmark step for India’s agriculture and allied sectors. The initiatives, supported by over ₹42,000 crore, aim to boost agricultural infrastructure, livestock, fisheries and food processing through 1,100 projects. Farmers, FPOs and innovators received recognition for their contributions. The government ensured affordable fertilizers, reduced GST on farm machinery and announced historic MSP hikes for wheat, pulses, mustard and oilseeds, empowering farmers financially and promoting self-reliance in agriculture.
