·        Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the "Prime Minister's National Digital Health Mission (PM-NDHM)" on 27 September.

·        The initiative was announced by the Prime Minister on August 15, 2020, at the Red Fort.

·        “PM-NDHM” aims to create a seamless online health ecosystem by providing a range of data, infrastructure and information services on a common platform where every citizen can securely upload and access their health records.

·        At present, the Prime Minister's "Digital Health Mission (PM-DHM)" is being implemented in a pilot phase in 6 Union Territories: Chandigarh, Dadra, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Ladakh and Puducherry.
