Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Skyroot Aerospace’s “Infinity Campus” in Hyderabad on 27 November 2025 via video conferencing, unveiling India’s first orbital rocket, Vikram-I, capable of carrying satellites to low Earth orbit. The 2 lakh sq. ft. facility enables design, development, integration, and testing of launch vehicles with monthly production capacity. Highlighting India’s growing space startup ecosystem of over 300 firms, PM Modi emphasized innovation, entrepreneurship, and ISRO support. A day earlier, he inaugurated Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI), strengthening India’s aviation sector and creating high-tech jobs.
