· Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the "Shikshak Parv-2021" and addressed the inaugural conference through a video conference.
· The theme of 'Shikshak Parv-2021' is "Quality and Sustainable Schools: Learning from Schools in India".
· This event was organized by the Ministry of Education, it will be celebrated from 07 to 17 September, 2021.

About new education policy
v New Education Policy (NEP) 2020: The new National Education Policy was approved by the Union Cabinet on 29 July 2020 to bring about transformational reforms in the school and higher education systems in the country.
v The first education policy of the 21st century replaced the 34 year old National Policy on Education (NPE), 1986, also, the Ministry of Human Resource and Development was renamed as Ministry of Education.
