Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra' at Netaji Metro Station (Kudghat) in Kolkata through video conferencing. The centre is located on the Dakshineswar-New Garia section (Blue Line).
Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra will help people to provide medicines at cheaper rates and save money.
Medicines will be made available at 50 to 90 percent lower rates than branded medicines in this center.
