Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred the country's highest civilian honour 'The Order of Mubarak Al-Kabir' by the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on 22 December 2024, which is a symbol of the strong and historic ties between India and Kuwait.
