  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two mega road infrastructure projects in Delhi — the Dwarka Expressway (Delhi stretch) and the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) — collectively worth ₹11,000 crore, at a public gathering in Rohini on Sunday. Highlighting the government’s vision, Mr. Modi pledged to make Delhi a global-class capital symbolising India’s growth and confidence. He noted that over the past 11 years, expressways, metro expansion, and the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail have revolutionised commuting in Delhi-NCR.
  • The Dwarka Expressway will enhance Gurugram-Delhi connectivity, while UER-II aims to reduce congestion at choke points like Mukarba Chowk, Dhaula Kuan, and NH-09. Once operational, travel time from Singhu border to IGI Airport will be cut to just 40 minutes.
