Recently this craft was developed by G. I. tag has been provided.
The GI tag for Pashmina craft protects the traditional artistry and cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
This ensures that the authenticity and uniqueness of the craft is preserved, which will benefit the artisans and the economy of the region.
Pashmina wool is obtained from the underbellies of Himalayan goats, known for its warmth, softness and luxurious feel.
Yes. I.TAG is provided by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
Its duration is for 10 years.
First G. I.Tag was given to Darjeeling tea in the year 2004.
