Senior diplomat Partha Satpathy has been appointed as India's Ambassador to Hungary.
Satpathy, a 1990 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service, is presently Ambassador of India to Ukraine.
Sanjay Bhattacharyya (Indian Foreign Service Officer of 1987 batch), presently Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Switzerland.
