Noah Lyles of the USA won the men's 100 meters in a historic and incredibly close finish, clocking in at 9.784 seconds and narrowly beating Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson by just .005 seconds.
The race was hailed as the greatest 100m final ever by track legend Michael Johnson, with all competitors breaking the 10-second barrier and the USA securing two podium finishes.
