  • Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale won the bronze medal in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions final at the Paris 2024 Olympics, India's first Olympic medal in this event.
  • The gold medal in this event was won by Liu Yukun of China with 463.6 points, while Ukraine's Serhi Kulish won the silver medal with 461.3 points.
  • India has won three medals so far at the Paris 2024 Olympics, and all of these medals have come in shooting, including bronze from Swapnil Kusale, bronze from Manu Bhaker and Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh in the 10m air pistol mixed team.
