  • The Earth Guardian Award was given to the Parambikulam Tiger Conservation Foundation for their work to help the conservation of tigers and biodiversity.
  • At the 11th edition of the NatWest Group Earth Heroes Awards, NatWest Group India (previously RBS India) established the honour.
  • The Parambikulam Tiger Conservation Foundation, located in the Western Ghats, is one of India's premier tiger reserves, rich in species, habitat, and ecosystem variety, as well as functional human-ecological affinities.
