The Earth Guardian Award was given to the Parambikulam Tiger Conservation Foundation for their work to help the conservation of tigers and biodiversity.
At the 11th edition of the NatWest Group Earth Heroes Awards, NatWest Group India (previously RBS India) established the honour.
The Parambikulam Tiger Conservation Foundation, located in the Western Ghats, is one of India's premier tiger reserves, rich in species, habitat, and ecosystem variety, as well as functional human-ecological affinities.
