Pakistan has been chosen to host the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.
This will also be Pakistan's first major international cricket tournament since 1996.
It will be Pakistan's first major global cricket tournament since hosting the Men's Cricket World Cup alongside India and Sri Lanka in 1996.
India will co-host the T20 World Cup with Sri Lanka in 2026, the Champions Trophy in 2029, and the World Cup in 2031 with Bangladesh.
