Patongtarn Shinawatra has been elected the new Prime Minister of Thailand. She will take over as the 31st Prime Minister of the country. She is the leader of the Fu Thai Party, as well as the youngest Prime Minister ever.
Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, secured parliamentary support to become prime minister after the dismissal of Srettha Thavisin, continuing her family's significant role in Thai politics.
