Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the annual 'Adivasi Mela' and launched the 'Shaheed Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana' aimed at addressing the problem of dropouts of tribal students.
Under the scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 5,000 to each tribal student studying in classes IX and XI in government and aided schools across the state.
