  • Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the annual 'Adivasi Mela' and launched the 'Shaheed Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana' aimed at addressing the problem of dropouts of tribal students.
  • Under the scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 5,000 to each tribal student studying in classes IX and XI in government and aided schools across the state.
