Renowned English author Ruskin Bond was honored with the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Fellowship at his home in Mussoorie. Bond was nominated for the Akademi's highest honor in September 2021, but due to ill health, he could not receive the award in person. The President of the Sahitya Akademi, Madhav Kaushik, and Secretary K. Sreenivasarao, presented the plaque to Bond at his home.
