Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus is set to be sworn in as the head of Bangladesh's interim government and has urged everyone to stay calm and avoid violence.
Army Chief Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman announced the interim government’s swearing-in time and indicated it may consist of 15 members.
The armed forces will support Yunus, who is currently in Paris and en route to Dhaka, after the resignation of Sheikh Hasina, who fled the country following violent protests.
