Nirupama Devi set new records in the clean and jerk and overall total, lifting 221kg to win the elite women’s 63kg title at the National Weightlifting Championships in Modinagar.
Bidusmita Bhoi broke three records — snatch (89kg), clean and jerk (117kg), and total (206kg) — to secure the junior title, and also earned bronze in the elite category. Winners:
