  • The Telangana government has decided to name the new Secretariat complex under construction here after the father of Constitution B.R. Ambedkar.
  • Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has asked Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to take the necessary steps in the matter. 
  • Telangana CM Mr Rao recalled that separate Telangana became a reality solely because of Article 3 in the Constitution which favoured smaller States.
  • Article 103: Formation of new States and alteration of areas, boundaries or names of existing States.
