Vivek Gogia, an IPS officer from the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories cadre, has been appointed Director of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
Ramphal Panwar, the current NCRB director, will be replaced by Vivek Gogia. Rampal Panwar will retire on December 31, 2021.
