  • Vivek Gogia, an IPS officer from the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories cadre, has been appointed Director of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
  • Ramphal Panwar, the current NCRB director, will be replaced by Vivek Gogia. Rampal Panwar will retire on December 31, 2021.
