Naturopathy Day is celebrated every year on 18 November to promote naturopathy in the country.
On 18 November itself, Mahatma Gandhi became a life member of the Nature Cure Foundation Trust and signed the deed.
Gandhiji is considered to be the founding figure of naturopathy in India, because it was due to his efforts that this treatment system became popular in India.
The fifth edition of Naturopathy Day is being celebrated in the year 2023.
This day was started in the year 2018.
The main program of this day was organized at the National Institute of Naturopathy in Pune.
The theme of this day for the year 2023 has been kept as 'Natural Medicine: An Integrative Medicine'.
