National Turmeric Board and Central Tribal University will be established in Telangana.
It was announced by the Prime Minister in October, 2023.
The Central Government has decided to set up a National Turmeric Board for the benefit of turmeric farmers.
Apart from this, it has been announced to establish a Central Tribal University in Mulugu district of Telangana at a cost of Rs 900 crore.
This university will be named Samakka Sarakka Central Tribal University.
National Turmeric Board will be established in Nizamabad.
