  • The State Tax Department of Uttar Pradesh has been honored with the National Taxation Award.
  • Uttar Pradesh State Tax Department has received this award in 2 categories.
  • The first prize has been received in the GST category of states and the second prize has been received in the category of reformist states.
  • This award will help the State Tax Department of Uttar Pradesh to improve new information technology and adopt technical facilities of data analysis.
  • Along with this, Uttar Pradesh has been recognized at the national level for its great efforts in making tax assessment transparent and simple as well as developing departmental service as a public useful and responsible work culture.
  • Around Rs 200 crore has been deposited so far by the State Tax Department by developing an online module of auto generated notice with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
