National Conference on Improved and Traditional Seed Production in Cooperative Sector was organized in New Delhi in October, 2023.
This conference was inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
This conference was organized by Indian Seed Cooperative Society Limited.
The importance of seed production through PACS and its role in crop productivity and nutrition were discussed in the conference.
It will provide assistance to cooperative societies across the country in development of infrastructure for demand-based seed production, seed storage, processing, packaging, logistics support and marketing of the seeds produced.
