The Ministry of Ayush convened the National Expert Committee on Herb Safety Dossiers from July 21–22, 2025, at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Goa. Co-chaired by Dr. A. Raghu (Deputy DG, Ayush) and Dr. J. B. Gupta, the committee includes leading scientists and experts tasked with evaluating safety and efficacy documentation for traditional herbal formulations used in Indian medicine.
