NASA's Europa Clipper mission, scheduled for October this year, aims to explore Jupiter's moon Europa for signs of life.
The spacecraft will carry a triangular metal plate engraved with a poem by US Poet Laureate Ada Limón titled "In Praise of Mystery: A Poem for Europa."
Additionally, a silicon microchip onboard will contain over 2.6 million names submitted by the public.
The metal plate will also feature etchings of 103 waveforms, representing the sound wave of the word "water" in 103 different languages, including Hindi.
Last year, NASA conducted a "Message in a Bottle" campaign, allowing the public to submit their names to be included on the spacecraft.
