Indian-American Nand Mulchandani, a Silicon Valley IT veteran who completed his schooling in Delhi, has been named the first-ever Chief Technology Officer of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Nand Moolchandani has been appointed by the Director of the CIA, William J. Burns.
Mulchandani has over 25 years of experience working in Silicon Valley.
Mulchandani was most recently the CTO and Acting Director of the Department of Defense's Joint Artificial Intelligence Center before joining the CIA.
