  • Tseminyu, Nuiland, and Chumukedima are three new districts established by the Nagaland government. 
  • The number of districts in the state of Nagaland has now increased to 15.
  • Tseminyu was designated as the 13th district, followed by Nuiland and Chumukedima as the 14th and 15th districts, respectively.
  • Niuland and Chumukedima were created from the Dimapur district, while Tseminyu is a sub-division of the Kohima district that has been elevated to the status of a district.
