The Indian Navy has recently announced that the multilateral joint naval exercise, MILAN, 2024 will be conducted at Visakhapatnam.
MILAN – 2024 will be held in February, 2024.
It will be organized by the Eastern Command of the Indian Navy.
Indian Naval units along with allied ships, maritime patrol aircraft and submarines will participate in the sea phase.
These will include large-scale maneuvers, advanced air defense operations, anti-submarine warfare and anti-surface warfare operations.
Navies of more than 50 countries will participate in this exercise.
MILAN joint military exercise is conducted by the Indian Navy every 2 years.
It started in the year 1995.
