Reliance Industries limited chairman Mukesh Ambani has overtaken Gautam Adani to become the richest Asian and Indian.
With a net worth of $84.3 billion, Mukesh Ambani is at the 9th place on world's richest persons list. With a net worth of $84.1 billion, Gautam Adani has slipped to the 10th place.
Most Adani Group stocks have been under selling pressure since Hindenburg Research's report last week alleged improper use of offshore tax havens and flagged concerns about high debt.
At the top of the list is French luxury fashion giant's LMVH's Bernard Arnault and family. In December 2022, Louis Vuitton's founder and CEO Bernard Arnault overtook Elon Musk as the world's richest person.
