R Shankar Raman, the current Whole-time Director and CFO of Larsen and Toubro (L&T), has been elevated to the position of President while retaining his existing roles within the organization.
Subramanian Sarma, Senior Executive Vice President of the Energy vertical at L&T, has been appointed as the Whole-time Director and President, Energy, tasked with overseeing hydrocarbon, power, and green manufacturing and development businesses.
R Shankar Raman, who joined L&T Group in 1994 to establish L&T Finance Ltd, brings extensive experience to his role, having served as CFO since October 2011. Subramanian Sarma, with over 40 years of experience, notably in the energy sector, will play a crucial role in driving L&T’s energy initiatives.
