  • Kathmandu: Nepal's renowned mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa has broken his own world record for climbing Mount Everest most number of times. 
  • The 54-year-old climber reached the 8,849-metre-high peak for the 29th time on May 12, 2024. 
  • Twenty climbers were involved in this mountaineering expedition organized by Seven Summit Tracks.
