The Ministry of Tourism has identified ‘Prayagraj’ and ‘Naimisharanya’ in Uttar Pradesh as destinations for development under ‘Swadesh Darshan 2.0 with the objective to develop sustainable and responsible tourism destinations.
The government launched ‘Swadesh Darshan Scheme’ in the year 2014-15 for integrated development of Theme-Based Tourist Circuits in the country.
