  • The 'Important Minerals Summit: Enhancing Beneficiation and Processing Capabilities' began at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. 
  • The summit, designed to promote cooperation and innovation in the benefit and processing of critical minerals, was inaugurated under the aegis of the Ministry of Mines, Secretary of Mines, Shri V.L. Kantha Rao presided over the inaugural function.
  • The two-day summit was held from April 29 to April 30, 2024 at the India Habitat Centre at Lodhi Estate, New Delhi. 
  • The main objective of the Critical Minerals Summit is to promote cooperation in critical mineral benefits and processing industry.
  • The conference will be held in India and will support clean energy goals, especially for developing energy systems.
  • The conference will bring together international stakeholders along with industry leaders, scientists, and government officials.
