  • A MoU was signed between India's Ministry of External Affairs and NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) for the launch of Nepal's Munal satellite, with the satellite aimed at creating a database of vegetation density on the Earth's surface.
  • Munal satellite will be launched on board NSIL's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, and MoU was exchanged during the 7th Joint Commission Meeting.
  • Nepalese space startup Space Foundation Nepal (APN) has assisted Nepali students in designing and building this satellite.
