  • The Ministry of Ayush and the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the health improvement of senior citizens and drug de-addiction. 
  • Under this partnership, special training modules, treatment protocols, yoga training programs, and healthcare services will be developed for the elderly. 
  • Geriatric health camps for senior citizens will be organized under the National Ayush Mission of the Ministry of Ayush, which will improve their overall health. 
  • The Ministry of Social Justice will work towards making the country drug-free by adopting Ayush-based treatments and providing senior citizens with a healthy and dignified life.
