Ministry of Ayush and Department of Social Justice & Empowerment Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Enhance Geriatric Healthcare and Combat Substance Abuse

The Ministry of Ayush and the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the health improvement of senior citizens and drug de-addiction.
Under this partnership, special training modules, treatment protocols, yoga training programs, and healthcare services will be developed for the elderly.
Geriatric health camps for senior citizens will be organized under the National Ayush Mission of the Ministry of Ayush, which will improve their overall health.
The Ministry of Social Justice will work towards making the country drug-free by adopting Ayush-based treatments and providing senior citizens with a healthy and dignified life.
