  • As a result of global plastic use, microplastics are now being found in air, water, soil, food, and human organs, causing health and environmental problems.
  • According to scientific evidence, microplastics are accumulating in vital organs, including the human brain, due to which Sedat Gundogdu of Turkey's Kukurova University has stressed the need to declare a global emergency over plastic pollution.
  • According to Chukurova University, microelements have been found in the brain at levels 10 to 20 times higher than in other experiments.
