Max Verstappen has secured his ninth win of the season and 63rd of his career with a major win for Red Bull at the crash-hit and controversial Qatar Grand Prix on 1 December 2024, which overtook Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and McLaren's Oscar Piastri.
Verstappen has already won the 2024 championship title, his fourth consecutive title.
