Masato Kanda has been unanimously elected as the 11th President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and will assume office on February 24, 2025, bringing 40 years of experience in international finance and policy.
The Government of India and ADB have signed a $98 million loan to enhance plant health management in India's horticulture sector.
